Abandoned horse, 28th June
A speckled grey horse has been tethered to the hedge at the corners of park lane and the Hawkhurst road for the last 5 days, no sign of anybody looking after it. Small grass area, maybe a travellers horse but it hasn’t moved in 5 days and has no shelter and limited water.

Discarded Waste, 21st March
There is a lot of discarded waste, primarily drink containers, cups, cans etc. and cigarette butts strewn around the public car park on Park Lane. It looks like someone has emptied a domestic rubbish bag or sat there for some time drinking and smoking and throwing the rubbish around their vehicles. This area is usually clear of rubbish.

A blue Volkswagen Caddy (REG: YF06 VVL) has been abandoned on Western Avenue, Hawkhurst, TN18 4JN. I first noticed the stationary vehicle in early January 2023. The vehicle features heavily damaged external bodywork, rusted brakes, debris and mold build up around window seals and wipers and is also not taxed. The vans MOT is also imminent.

Parking in a turning circle and parking on pavement, 7th March
The middle of western road is a cut off - it has been assigned as a turning circle, however there is a number of white vans constantly parked there. There is also other vans parked alongside, covering the pavement. The vans are part of a removal services, and parking isn’t he turning circle make it difficult for residents in Armitage place to get out of western road.
