Over grown trees, 8th November
As report in 2018 , and after an inspection by one of your representatives, who marked trees and explained that trees will be cut back , we are still waiting . At No 1 brands hatch cottages, there is a tree completely covering his pond , which has caused untold problems , at my house no 3 a separate tree completely covers my summer house , which I’ve had to cut back at my own cost as I’m worried it will damage my property , no 4 has to move a huge overgrown branch just to get into their shed , i think we have been extremely Patient in waiting for this to be sorted , but 4 years is excessive! The trees need maintenance all of them as they have been left to grown so tall that they are thin and offer no sound protection as they are supposed to . And as we are not allowed to have sound proofing fencing this is our only defence against the M20 .

Motorists peering over my fence !, 20th April
We live 20yards from the m20 , we constantly have motorists stopping ( more so during winter when the trees are bare ) and peering over our fence to get attention. Today I had to see one go to the toilet right outside my fence , it was not urine either !
Within the 5 cottages that back on to this stretch there are 3 teenage girls , 2 of whom bedrooms windows look out onto this area . 2 years ago we had a peeper that was nightly looking at our properties, this was reported to the local police but nothing ever came of it unfortunately no one was caught . However both girls now are extremely cautious in their own homes .
Apart from the noise , which currently I would assume would be top of the agenda , noise pollution etc , the fact that we have to endure motorists peering. Into our private space , surely we need a stretch of sound proofing fence to stop both problems ?!

Verge rubbish and cutting, 21st November
The verges from Brands Hatch heading towards Farningham have been cut exposing all rubbish. Why are we wasting money cutting verges that are sanctuaries for wildlife and if they are cut, why don’t you also pick up all the rubbish that you’ve exposed? The litter on both sides of this road is an eyesore. I’m sorry council tax payers are having to pay to pick this up, and that council workers have to pick it up at all, but it can’t be left there. It’s a disgrace. I wonder what overseas visitors think of this green and pleasant land????

Fawkham Green Road - southern half, 2nd June
The carriageway surface of Fawkham Green Road is heavily potholed and a significant hazard to vulnerable road users. This is partly due to traffic volume, gravel runoff from drives with unsealed surfaces and water damage due to lack of direct sunlight because of overhanging trees. Could it be considered for reconditioning as Crowhurst Lane was treated a few years ago?
