Oergrown roadside hedgerows, 2nd February
In Filston Lane and Shacklands Road, Shoreham, Kent The roadside hedgerows are overgrown into the road, some have been cut back but many remain sticking out into these roads. This effectively narrows the road and reduces sightlines. These hedges/.shrubs need to be cut back before bird nesting time that starts in a few weeks.......otherwiae their growth will be vigorous and create an even greater problem.

Overgrown hedgerows, 18th October
The roads/lanes in the Shoreham area have overgrown hedgerows at the roadsides that need cutting back. My car along with many others is scratched from the "brush-by effect" ......the lanes are reduced from two lane traffic to less because of the growth of hedgerows extending into the road area. This also reduces forward vision when the road is anything other than dead straight. Also it means that walkers find it awkward to squeeze into the side of the lane when a vehicle comes past them.
