62" x 30" pothole on road outside my property., 21st March
This pothole is on the road outside of my property. It is at the very end of my driveway. I have to drive over this pothole to leave and enter my driveway, this is the only way I can leave my driveway with my car. The pothole has been there a little while and more recently I have noticed that its getting bigger in size. Infact its increasing in size quite fast...a month ago it wasn't as large as it is now!! also, I am concerned that someone may trip or fall if they're passing that way, on foot at nightime as the roadway also leads to other residents bungalow, where elderly people live and where ambulances drive up and down. Thank-you for prompt response. Paula Richards 44 The Grove, Hodnet, Market Drayton, TF9 3NU 07572584894

Very Dangerous Pothole Just outside Hodnet, Shropshire, TF9 3LN, 6th March
Going towards Marchamley from Hodnet take left turn (signposted 'Weston') to an area known locally as Paradise. Once you have turned down this narrow road, after maybe 200-300 metres there is a very wide deep pothole which takes up most of the carriageway on one side of the road. To avoid it you have to completely move over to the other side of the road, not just swerve a little to get round it. It is very deep and very wide and would dismount a cyclist or even a motorcyclist if they attempted to ride over it. This is a very narrow road with lots of bends, which makes avoiding pot holes very dangerous.

Road is usually gritted but not this winter., 16th January
Every year I have lived here Station Road has been gritted. This year it is not. Why? The main bus stop for Thomas Adam’s School is by the Crescent In Station Road, so many children walk down the road or are dropped off in cars early in the morning. Also Hodnet Fire Station is in this road. And a new housing estate is being built which creates a lot of mud on the road. This mud is dangerous when icy. The road was covered in ice this morning and was very dangerous. It is only a matter of time before there is an accident if it is not gritted. Please continue to grit this busy route. Thank You

100 + potholes and unlevel road., 15th January
There are over 100! Potholes in the lane coming to our house Greenfields Barn TF9 3JJ. It is patched eventually every year after numerous emails and phone calls ,and lasts only a few months as it is only a quick fix. The entire road needs to be resurfaced as apart from the potholes the surface is so uneven it damages the suspension on our cars . I would like to meet someone when they come to inspect the lane . A number of potholes, 4th January
The white paint spray applied following the original report in Jan 2023 has been eroded away as the holes have considerably increased in size and severity. As you are intending to address another pothole which I have reported in Hodnet perhaps you could arrange to address all the potholes here during one visit. There are also a number along Drayton Road in the village which also in serious need of attention. Thank you.

2 potholes at the crown of the road, 3rd January
These potholes have developed over a number of months to the point where they are now 3 inches deep and stones from them are surrounding the holes. The beginning of this problem was reported about 10 months ago together with a hole on the nearside which was repaired recently but the damage at the crown of the road was disappointingly ignored.
