Blocked drain near Oak Tree Cottages, 21st February
Ongoing issue with insufficient drainage. The drain that is there fills up rapidly with sludge and slurry running down the old access route to Cheswardine Hall. Was told years ago more drainage would be installed, this has still not happened

Customer called to request that the many potholes alone this road be fixed. Customer mentioned that she had damaged her car and it got much worse since then. You can only drive 5 miles per hour and cyclist are in danger even attempting the road.

This road is abysmal and there are numerous pot holes, we have now had three damaged tyres which is not acceptable. This road is almost getting unusable which would ask the question why is it in this state, don’t rural council tax payers deserve better?

Flooding, 3rd January
There is water pouring down the old access route to Cheswardine Hall. This was first reported to SC in Nov 2020. Can anything be done now, as it has got much worse. It is like a fast running stream. Customer has had to dig a channel to divert the water to the road from the houses. At the time SC said there were not sufficient funds to do anything.

Numerous potholes on road from chipnal to turning for chipnal mill farm, 2nd January
The entire road surface is in terrible condition, it has been like this for months the road is near impossible to drive without causing damage to your car, you have to travel at literally walking pace, taxis have started to refuse to use it for fear off damage

Black ice, 1st December
I fell in middle of road on black ice yesterday about 1pm. The roads leading into Chewardine are extremely dangerous. We park are van up Lawn Lane as no parking by our house and have to cross road on bend to get to our house, as this gives us best view of oncoming traffic that is often speeding. It's dangerous to pedestrians and vehicles , particularly in icy conditions. Please grit it.

80 degree bend in road with overgrown hedge, 18th October
The current hedge is very overgrown. This location is also a junction onto Marsh Lane from the Cheswardine to Eccleshall road. Consequently the state of the hedge makes both turning towards Eccleshall and into Marsh Lane. The hedge was planted in the wrong location, (too close to the road) by the previous owner of Cob Farm
