Brook flowing over carriageway surface, 10th April
Following recent changes to the make up and raising of adjacent farm land the brook now regularly flows over the carriageway surface, rather than beneath it as it did before. The drainage system seems to have been affected so that the brook does not follow its original course - that being under the road. In the winter it freezes, which is less than ideal being on a blind bend.

Storm water from Village Road flooding gardens, 1st April
Whenever there is heavy rain, the water draining from the corner on Village Road is coming up out of a storm drain cover in the rear garden of Copper Beech and flooding the gardens of both Copper Beech and Church View. This didn’t use to happen so I suspect the drain downstream of the drain cover has become blocked.

Water on highway flowing into our property, 6 inches deep., 1st April
There is no drain on the highway to divert the water off the road and away from our property. Each time it's rained our garden has been submerged, A drain is required to be installed. There is a picture attached which shows the water which stands and never drains away, this has now lead to the erosion of the road surface and now hides a large pothole beneath the water. Our house has had the water enter into the kitchen because of the flow coming across the highway. Please, Please can someone fix this issue. There is also a picture attached showing the water encroaching the Electrical substation. We have moving images showing exactly where the water is flowing from, and can furnish you with these upon request. Thank you. John

Several blocked drains on Pixley lane, flood water streaming down highway to properties, 23rd February
We’ve had a persistent drain issue every winter for the past few years. As the lane is dug in between fields, the water seems to run off the fields directly onto the lane. There are 2/3 drains which are completely blocked and not carrying the water away. I’ve cleared as much leaf otter and debris away but doesn’t seem to fix the issue. As the upper drains are blocked, we now have streams funnelling water down towards the properties.

Water running off Narrow Lane affecting my driveway, 22nd February
During the past few months there has been a consistent problem with water run off from Narrow Lane running down onto my driveway making it difficult, at times of heavy rain, to access my car I reported a blocked drain which was cleared. Thank you. But, the silt that comes down Narrow Lane soon blocks it again. This drain is insufficient to deal with the amount of water running down Narrow Lane. We have endeavoured to keep our drains clear but the silt/ mud from the run off is blocking the drains outside the cottages. I would appreciate any advice please.

Large pothole, with surface sinking, 16th January
There has been some attempt to repair this pothole, but the repair is already sinking. The pothole is in a dangerous location right on a bend. Traffic avoiding the pothole could be in collision with vehicles travelling in the other direction.
