Multiple gulley problems, 19th April
On the left going down Bridge Road there has been a pair of gullies overflowing for some weeks. This is the run-off from one of the local mines. The situation has now become worse as the gully on the opposite side of the road is also emitting large quantities of water. Both runs are mainly going into the gullies that were sorted out earlier in the year but the one on the footpath side makes it hazardous to us ethe footpath. To make the situation worse, a gulley lower down is now emitting the water - it can't be missed it is the same orange colour. This really need dealing with before anyone else gets soaked!
