Unnecessary Obstruction, 19th April

Fri, 19 Apr 2024 08:29:19 +0100
52.694668 -2.437454

Car(s) constantly parked evening and overnight on pavement within close proximity to junction. Always there in morning when trying to exit onto busy road. Have had more than numerous near misses with cars which cannot be seen until too late. Not made any better with cars legally parked opposite junction. There will be an accident here soon. Pavement is wide but often inhibits group movement on pavement. However, the unnecessary obstruction severely hinders the exiting of this junction. Constant issue with residents needing to exit this street. Request council review and provide written response in order to show this issue has been highlighted. This issue has been reported before to council however unsure if sent to correct department.

2 cars Fully parking up on the pavement, 22nd March

Fri, 22 Mar 2024 00:21:33 +0000
52.694697 -2.437347

Their is a wide part of the pavement that 2 cars have been parking up on fully on the pavement, up close to the kerb, this leaves little room for pedestrian to walk by, especially if the hedge is not cut. But the dangerous part of this is cars turning right out of rothwell close can't see down the road they are turning into, as these cars block all view.. This would not be too bad but as there is also cars parking on the other side of the road going right, if you are turning out you can't move saftely to the correct side of the street, so you have to peek your car out, and check that there is no oncoming car, and if so you have to pull back in, if that car is turning into rothwell close then you both can't move at all.. as all the parked cars. all cos 2 cars, if they parked closer to the house then you would have sight down the street.

Cars parking on double yellow lines, 23rd February

Fri, 23 Feb 2024 15:21:08 +0000
52.710625 -2.447884

Outside my house are double yellow lines plus a one way system. Every day at approximately between 8:30 am - 9:30 am and 2:30 pm - 3:30 pm there are several cars parking on double yellow lines along the road. These people are parking there to drop off and pick up their children from school. Double yellows are there for a reason and shouldn't be being parked on for a lengthy space of time like these people are doing.

Brickwork around manhole falling away., 18th December

Mon, 18 Dec 2023 08:49:53 +0000
52.705333 -2.471939

Brickwork around manhole cover falling away causing a significant hole at least 3 foot deep on the one side of the manhole. I've attempted to rearrange the bricks but this needs fixing asap to precent serious harm or injury. This damage has also revealed the complete lack of foundation below the brick work, showing the road is just sand with bricks placed on top - completey inadequate, but not surprising from this council. The photo does not show the depth ir size of the hole below the brickwork which will be opened very soon without action.
