Large pothole in the driving lane of Watling Street (A5) when travelling in an easterly direction., 11th April
This pothole has been here for approximately three months. It is located on the A5 approximately 100 metres from the A41 roundabout heading in an easterly direction ( towards Weston park ) in between the ‘welcome to Shropshire’ and ‘welcome to Staffordshire’ signs . So it’s in No man’s land between the signs. Staffordshire CC have told me it’s not their responsibility, so over to you my friends.

Accident here due to long grass obscuring roundabout, 26th June
Travelling along the A41 from Newport I approached the Pickmere roundabout in the left lane. The car in front slowly brakes then accelerated to go. I did the same as this driver, the view of the roundabout was totally obscured due to the long grass on the right as shown in the picture. The vehicle in front didn’t see a motorbike enter the roundabout so had to heavily brake. Looking across I also couldn’t see anything on the roundabout due to this long grass, when I looked back the car in front had braked heavily, I slammed on my brakes but unfortunately hit the car in front. This accident was totally unavoidable if the grass had been cut and both cars could have seen other traffic on the roundabout clearly. I have dash am footage of the accident and approach to this roundabout which I’m happy to share. This needs addressing asap as this is a hazard and was attributable to this accident.

Customer asked if we could trim down the visibility splay at the junction of Lizard Lane and the A41 as it is too high for her to see when turning right from the lane onto the A41.

Tree needs cutting down, 10th May
Hi, I am seeking permission to cut this tree down. It is an acorn tree, poisonous to horse and as such I am unable to use some of my land. My horses graze the fields and even with some of the field sectioned off I am concerned the wind can blow the leaves and acorns into the fields. Therefore we need to cut this down

At the Pickmere Roundabout, (A5/A41 Junction) there are a lot of issues that are causing problems, 27th February
At the Pickmere Roundabout, (A5/A41 Junction) there are a lot of issues that are causing problems. There is very poor visibility from the grass/weeds and the trees being overgrown. The roundabout triangles are unable to be seen because of the grass/weeds being overgrown. Also all the signs on the verge are 'smashed down' and unable to be seen. The caller has advised that this roundabout is very dangerous because of all of this. I believe the verges leading up to the roundabout may need to be trimmed as well. Can you please look into the situation and get resolved? Many thanks

Cat eye's in the middle of the road do not work, 5th December
None of the cat's eyes in the centre of the road are working for the full length of this road (between the a5 and the petrol station) - very dark at night, when you have oncoming traffic, it's hard to see if you're veering into their lane. This could cause a serious accident.
