Traffic lights now for no reason??, 5th November
The water board the other day attended a water leak. It is near the junction of Bridge Street. They set up a 3 way traffic light system but for some reason left the 2 sets on the main road with nothing there? All it is doing is frustrating drivers waiting for nothing. It is an accident waiting to happen because waiting for lights to change in a queue of cars and a car decided to drive straight past everyone and ignore the lights so if anyone had approached from Bridge street assuming it was there turn to go it would have been a nasty accident? I can see the roads works in Bridge street but there is plenty of room and vision for cars approaching the main road to give way as they normally do without the need for the lights? Maybe the water board are returning tomorrow after the weekend fair enough but they should have temporarily stopped the lights as they were totally unnecessary??!!

Refuse not collected ??, 20th August
Refuse collection day was Friday 18th August 2023. Refuse has NOT been collected from any of the properties at the usual collection place? All properties put there wheelie bins at the requested place the night before so ready for next day collection and disposal. It seems some bins where dealt with along some parts of Heol Gieien but ours were NOT !!

Building a driveway across public parking, 10th July
The road opposite where I live. Is for residents parking in The bungalows opposite. And the person Opposite his putting a driveway, across. Where we have to park. Next door neighbour. Said the driveway shouldn't be there in the first place. It Was hand built years ago i'm sure they haven't got planning permission For it so I don't know where we are going to park. Can somebody come and have a look Please Thanks

Potholes on roundabout junction Heol Gwys Heol Tredeger, 1st April
Holes have been here for some months. Some vehicles cannot navigate the roundabout correctly due to its size. As they go over it they try to miss the potholes, taking them more into the path of oncoming traffic. I have seen a near miss between a large van and a cyclist.

Large hole between pavement and lane, 16th February
The large hole is between the pavement and the lane leading to Mission Hall. It is difficult to walk past and you either half to avoid by walking up the difficult angle of the lane or walking to other side of the large hole which is close to the road on the bend of the road which is not ideal.

Trash Screen needs clearing in culvert., 29th May
Top trash screen needs to be cleared urgently with heavy rain forecast. The works of the culvert were not completed as not re-grassed as said it would be and left unsightly.

Flytipping of OTHER UNWANTED rubbish !!!!, 10th January
Residents bins which are left on the pavement on the main road for collection at the request of Powys Council are now starting to attract OTHER UNWANTED rubbish?? The extra bags were in the bin but at the request of the Council they said to take out so they can be not collected by the bin men and investigated. One has been left in the bin to show an example of what the inconsiderate dumper(s) have done!!!! This has just been reported and hopefully the council will find the culprit(s) ????

Roadworks left and not finished. Large holes, 6th April
Large openings in tarmac left by workmen in various locations along main road. There are no markers or bollards to alert you where they are. VERY, VERY dangerous and especially for motorcycle users.
