Potholes have joined making road farmtrack standards, 14th February

Sun, 14 Feb 2016 15:14:35 +0000
52.107996 -4.717199

Although the whole lane really needs looking at this is the worst part of it. We have already shredded one tyrewall on the inside and the collection of stones in the middle of the road we have to dig out on a regular basis as it grounds the car. There is also a hell of a big stone in the hedge thats a real 'rim crusher' if you get it wrong. Many people arrive at the farm and think they have driven up a private road owned by a really poor farmer who cant afford a shovel.

Water running off the road on to my property, 19th November

Mon, 19 Nov 2012 00:30:49 +0000

Just found your site....Back in October when there was much torrential rain, the water was running off the road and damaging my property. I am wondering if the council could put a little ridge where the entrance from the road is to curtail the flow. Many thanks

It would be great if the double yellow lines could be extended round the corner on the outside of this blind bend.

Terrible hedge cutting, 12th September

Wed, 12 Sep 2012 11:04:13 +0100
52.110039473635 -4.7228434675743

The hedge cutting this year is terrible. If I had a lotus elise I may manage to not catch any overhanging branches - but I dont - I have slightly higher vehicle, like most other people do too. The flail seriously needs to do another pass higher up the hedge-line. I would also suggest that the hedgeline be cut up one side of the road earlier in the season too. I know the hedges look lovely for walkers on the trot up the hill - but they dont appreciate having to back into a wall of stinging nettles every-time a car passes. Or maybe make some dedicated passing areas for pedestrians? Thanks Barry Wright

Huge stone in road and tree opposite, 3rd September

Fri, 03 Sep 2010 21:43:01 +0100
52.1075818124047 -4.71702070416783

A tree has been growing in this location whilst on the opposite side of the road a huge stone embedded in the tarmac. Though the stone has obviously been there since the road was made, the tree is over growing and is making the road impassable to normal traffic such as delivery vans and agri vehicles which need access to the holdings further on. Can you remove the tree or help by removing the stone? Barry
