A number of deep potholes on Smyrna road also laybys covered with mud hiding further potholes from view., 14th January
The potholes have been there for months and are getting worse. The lay-bys are covered in thick mud obscuring other potholes from view. The verges are being eroded away by large tractors and tankers leaving dangerous channels on the side of the road. The above issues have been reported to the council on a number of occasions but still no action to resolve the issue.

Roads covered in thick mud and on bad corner of road. More like a field than a public road. Road between Portis and junction in similar condition which was reported last week but nothing done???

Roads and lay-by covered in mud., 5th December
Road and lay-by covered in mud, more like a farm yard than a public highway. Farmer has no respect for other road users. If you have to use the lay-by your car is covered in mud. This issue gets reported on a regular basis but nothing gets done, an accident waiting to happen!!

Flooding, 26th November
Flooding of road from nant yr arian to the start of Noel gardens. Council have not done anything to sort this. Nearly encroaching the pavenments and house also a Welsh water sewage pumping station could be swamped if heavy rainfall occurs. Please can this be sorted asap

Illegal parking in 3 Pondside, 17th August
Black van illegally parked in garden. Been there for a couple of days. The owner to the property is living abroad and not there. They do NOT have permission. The pub owner doesn't own or have permission to grant permission to others to park there. Blocking legal right of way access for other property.

Destroyed sign, 13th April
The vandalism done to the new Carmarthen street Art sign. You will know all about this issue but it is really appalling and puts Carmarthen in a very poor light. Please get this sorted before the summer season before all tourist passing through see it.

Overgrown Hedge, 12th March
The hedge that borders the garden of 39 Fountain Hall Terrace has gone so thick it is taking over the public path that leads from the top of Ferrar Street into Fountain Hall Terrace,the path is now so narrow that i found it very difficult to push my granddaughter’s pushchair through there today.

Mud on road again and along Heol smyrna Farmer thinks the public highway is part of his Farm. CCC don’t appear to be bothered until an accident or something happens!!, 1st February
Road often covered in mud and no action being taken to make the Farmer clean up after him. If this was a housing developer the council would be all over them to keep the roads clean.

Sat outside my house for 25 mins unable to get down Heol Salem as the school traffic was at a stand still coming up the road. Thus is everyday., 17th April
Sat for 25mins outside my house unable to move as the school traffic was coming up Heol Salem on a stand still again.. It's everyday the same.. No one will give way if you are coming down Heol Salem. I could not even move my vehicle. It's get ridiculous.

The road narrowing outside QE high school is dangerous, 15th April
The widening of the pavement is causing chaos at school times as the facility for drop off and collection now blocks the road. If kids get pushed into the road there is no room to swerve any more without crossing into oncoming traffic. Emergency vehicles can no longer get through and there is no room on the pavement for kids and cycles. It is completely dangerous. This is not taking into account the single track parking when the football season commences and how will traffic get through. Farm machinery and buses can’t pass without going onto the pavement. It is an accident waiting to happen and as there was not a public consultation with parents the alterations are illegal and should be reversed

QE High Road through Johnstown, 15th April
The widened pavements put in have not made the road safer it has made it more dangerous as traffic can no longer pass freely through Johnstown as cars are parked everywhere in the road at drop off and pick up times. Whilst I agree that the pavements are safer for the children to walk to school from the road leading from centre of town to school, the widened pavement at the pick up point and beyond to the Leisure centre has now made it more dangerous for pedestrians and drivers as cars have to mount curbs to go around parked cars!! Also no way for emergency vehicles to get through if a car can't even get through safely! I did report this last year and didn't even have a response. I would like a response this time please about what is going to be done about it.
