This area surrounding a mini roundabout is absolutely disgraceful to have been left and ignored for such a long time. I see people swerve to avoid the various dangers but this is a main route for children going to and from Ysgol Y Castell. I wonder if a catastrophic incident will finally wake up the County Council to it’s responsibilities?

Potholes everywhere., 29th April
It would be extremely time consuming but I will do it, to collate ALL the evidence of holes in our roads. It is disgraceful that Carms CC do not care at all about the state of the highways and it is noticeable everywhere you drive. Coming from Llanelli via Burry Port to Kidwelly is akin to driving on the Moon and is sometimes dangerous as motorists have to swerve to avoid the holes.

Reported the blocked byway on fence line of route marked on definitive map at penlan uchaf. After discussion with the farmer a route runs down the road and to the gateways marked in this report. The byway needs clearly marking and be officially moved on the definitive map to cover this route or the current definitive map route needs unblocking through removal of the fence and installation of a gate.

Old caravan and White Mercedes van parked at Kidwelly Quay., 17th August
Owners camping at the Quay. Caravan is not legal to tow as it has no number plate. Van reg DE03 OLK. Where are they tipping their waste water and toilet waste? I understood that people in caravans and motor homes could park in the carpark behind the sewage works, but not actually on the Quay.

Dog fouling around the Priory St area, 25th April
I witnessed a man with 2 dogs yesterday evening not picking up his dogs mess. He regularly walks this route around 7 to 8 pm. He is a big man of average height with dark wavy hair around 40 to 50. He always wears black clothing. He has 2 dogs a husky and what I think is a jack Russell cross. Even though he saw me watching him he still walked off. I did not want to challenge him as I am a 69yr old woman. Ysgol Y Castell school is on this steet and dog mess is often found there

Far too much standing water due to road subsidence, 30th March
The road running alongside the disused Gwenllian Court Hotel toward Mynydd- y- garreg Rugby club and adjacent to Parc Felindre is in a shocking state.
It is subsiding which is possibly due to heavy farm traffic that frequently use the road and in wet weather the road is flooded over large areas an no in keeping with the residential close of of Parc Felindre who's residents pay a sizeable Council tax fee.

Littered Glass, 1st January
There is broken glass strewn all along the pavements leading to Kidwelly Castle.Also on the near approach to the castle just near the small cottages adjacent to the moat house.As a responsible dog owner and someone who enjoys a walk this glass is a problem and a danger.
