Another year where Persimmon Homes new development. St Michaels Way is causing the road to be a absolute disgrace. The road is unsafe with the layers of mud left on it, especially in wet weather, and they do nothing to prevent this never mind the state it leaves cars in. I have to use this road everyday to commute to work and I may as well be in the RAC rally ! Please have Persimmon Homes do something about it this year as last they took no notice. I and many others pay our road fund Licence, and not for dirt track driving !

Layers of mud, 9th November

Street light shining straight into bedrooms, 3rd July
12 Hartland Close Ryhope, street light right opposite property is shining straight into two front bedrooms. With weather being hot can’t open windows light causing nuisance and please consider a shield for the light.

Quads and motor bikes, 2nd April
Quad bikes and motor bikes going up the grass in front of smith st south,there is no road there just a footpath and grass verge, this will cause an accident as the vehicles have to cross 2 footpaths to gain access. I have reported this before, but nothing has been done.

Street light obscured by overgrown trees, (17 rachel close) also same trees roots starting to effect public footpath by uneven flags whch have become a trip hazzard., 16th February
Due to the trees surrounding the streetlight ,this makes the street path very hazardous at night due to the unever flags being lifted by the tree roots outside the garden. Street lighting is not the best to start with in the area .

A lot of litter has collected under shrubs to the side of asda on ryhope St south., 5th January
This litter has been collecting over months and is unsightly, I don't know if it's asda or the council who is responsible for cleaning it up but it needs clearing.

Motor bikes, 12th March
Motor bikes going on the grass at the front of smith street south ryhope,there is no road in the front of smith st south just a footpath and grass verge, we are getting more Motor bikes on the grass, this will cause an accident eventually. One end of the street should have something to prevent Motor bikes travelling in and out, but still allow access to pedestrians and baby buggys, this is the third time of reporting this nuisance in 6 months!
