On 01/03/2024 at approximately 5.45am, I had to drive through a series of potholes that where all positioned together in a big cluster that took up the majority of the width of the whole lane. As i drove through them, I heard a very harsh crack from the rear of the vehicle. The car felt slightly odd after that, so I went to the garage, who advised that I had snapped a spring on the rear of the vehicle by going through the pothole/s. Both rear springs had to be replaced together as a result, in order for the car to sit level and drive correctly (especially important apparently as its a 4-wheel drive car. This cost £260.00 to rectify so I would very much appreciate it if Cheshire East could cover the repair cost. Its not fair on road users to have their cars damaged on their commute to and from work. Things are expensive enough as they are without things like this. But more impotlrtantly, this is dangerous, and has been left like this for some time now, only to get worse.

The road is looking like it is subsiding, I have noticed a big difference in the last week or two and I’m afraid it will collapse and someone will be seriously injured if it’s not repaired quickly. The photo I have attached does not show the problem very well.

The drain must be blocked as water doesn’t drain and blocks half the road. The kerb has started to sink and become uneven as it’s been like this for so long. This has been a problem for many years

I previously reported this issue under reference 5667333 I received an automated email on Wednesday the 24th April suggesting the issue had been fixed and there would be no further action. I took the attached photograph on Saturday the 27th April clearly indicating the gully was still blocked Please explain Thank you.
