Large communal rubbish bin, 26th April

Fri, 26 Apr 2024 14:40:56 +0100
53.449031 -2.18525

The large black communal waste bin has 2 wheels that no longer work. This makes it almost impossible for the bin men to move it along the alleyway cobbles whilst full. When they do manage to empty it, it isn’t put back in its usual space as it is hard to manoeuvre, often blocking garden gates. I have hurt my shoulder and back dragging it into its place. A new communal black bin is needed immediately.

Entryways full of rubbish, 26th April

Fri, 26 Apr 2024 09:13:01 +0100
53.457089 -2.175193

The gated passageways between Thomson Road, Craig Road , Heathcote Road etc are a disgraceful mess. Full of all manner of domestic rubbish. This is a permanent feature of these gated passageways. The roadside of the gates are often cleared by the authorities only for them to be abused again, often within the same day!

Tree, 23rd April

Tue, 23 Apr 2024 13:41:11 +0100
53.450153 -2.188742

In between 64/66 longden road longsight m12 5SG. There is a large tree that is blocking the light to the residents house ive reported this about 4 times in the past and nothing has been sorted , residents would like it removing completely and putting somewhere else , previously it broke the pavement up and part of the residents doorstep but this got repaired , the tree sheds blossom and it causes problems when wet , bottom of tree is jyst used as a litter dump or pooping area for cats and dogs , the elderly resident had a fall because of this tree and i reported it in the past , can it be removed to a better place or replaced with a smaller tree or even cut down to a decent level. It also causes the residents windows to be dirty plus its next to a lampost and blocks it. Plus no natural light going in the houses , realistically it would be better to remove it as it causes problems to cars also my prevoius reports seem to get ignored even though i post for other people in the street , or i get told trees lean ? Half the trees on the road are either dead or just an eyesore because no one looks after them , residents who wanted these when they first got put in no longer live on the road and residents now dont want them because of problems they cause. Can something happen please be done once and for all instead of the dept ,who deals with trees ignores everything thankyou

Blocked grids, 15th April

Mon, 15 Apr 2024 19:47:18 +0100
53.442957 -2.169827

The grids All along Wordsworth Road flood but when it rains most of them block, especially the one outside my house. I have reported this multiple times yet never seen anybody come out and do it In over 12 months. I am having to regularly unblock this grid myself. I’m considering I’ve just had a raise in my council tax I would expect this to be done by now, especially after the amount of times I have reported it And patiently waited for somebody to attend it. I would expect this to be worse if I hadn’t collected all the leaves from the trees when they fell In the autumn last year. I don’t mind doing my bit for example clearing up leaves etc to make sure they don’t block grids and I do this regularly every year. It’s just really disappointing and when you report something after trying to resolve it yourself and nothing is done it’s just ignored over and over. Please, somebody attend the grids To clear any blockages.
