Grass was cut sometime around 12th of April, 4 days later it's already 4 inches high and likely to be 12 inches high before it's cut again. Suggest these two small areas of grass are cut as short as possible and then cut more often so it will make future cuts easier and look much better in the process. A four whelel drive cylinder "Triple Cutter" followed up with strimming/grass blower every 16 days is the only way to keep up with it. Speaking from experience. Paul.

Glass covering the pavement, 31st October
There's glass all over the pavement on the park side near the entry. There's a lot of dog walkers, children, prams, walkers use this bit of pavement, please could it be cleaned?

The grass is 23 inches long !!!, 10th May
HPBC did a great job 1st cut and left it neat and tidy. However, it now looks like a jungle everywhere you look, the grass is so long in places there are seed heads standing up at the end of grass that is well over 18 inches high, Yates Road, Park Road (especially bad) and basically every blade of grass over New Street and Jubilees Street. I realise it's been wet and I myself did this job in 97/98 so I know what is entailed. Suggest the crew of lads work 6 days a week to get back on track because if they cut it but leave it long, the same thing will happen over and over. PS: The lady at the top of Yates Road has enough on her plate looking after her husband (which is more than you can imagine) she doesn't really need this.

The leaves are making the path slippy, especially when wet, this will only get more hazardous as it gets colder. The leaves are an issue on church lane by New Mills school but also the sett Valley trail behind the doctors and leisure centre

Over flowing public bin with dog poo bags, 19th October
The public bin outside the parish hall on Church Lane, New Mills is over flowing with bags of dog poo. This is not safe as children play in this area and it is also close to the primary school. This needs emptying immediately.

Dangerous overgrown Tree behind 31 Jubilee St, 30th September
The overgrown conifer tree at the rear of 31 Jubilee Street is swaying in high winds and looks extremely unsafe. Needs removing as soon as possible before someone is hurt and property is damaged! The property is council owned!

Overgrown trees and bushes, 5th September
There are over grown trees and bushes from council land obstructing the right of way at the end terrace of 39 Jubilee Street. The trees are also rubbing on the wall rendering on the gable end wearing the rendering away! Bushes and trees all need pruning back to clear the right of way to the back of the properties!

8 trees in danger from developers, Rear of Yates Road, New Mills, 2nd September
Children's play area with 8 trees has been advertised for sale , only been made aware of this since 01/09/2022. Needless to say every tree needs to be saved to help save the planet. This is a time sensitive issue as the auction will take place less than 4 weeks from now on 28/09/2022. A tree preservation order is urgently required prior to this date to save all these trees for all the obvious reasons well documented. Today's date is 02/09/2022.
