BOAT sign is obscured on one side by a 'Gliding club' sign, 7th November
The 'Gliding club' sign needs repositioning, put on its own post, so the BOAT sign can be clearly viewed from all directions. The BOAT starts opposite the church and road junction. My view is that this is a Highways issue rather than a PRoW one.

Poor road surface, 21st April
The road from Gt Hucklow to Grindlow has a very poor surface which has been eroded away by a constant stream of water running from a blocked drain further up the hill. The drain has been repaired now (after some years) but the road has been left in a bad state and needs some repairs &/or resurfacing. As it's a single track road there is no way of avoiding any of the bumps in a vehicle. There is no pavement so it is also very bad for pedestrians

Badly damaged road surface, 25th February
The surface of the road from the troughs at Gt Hucklow down to Grindlow is very rough as water is running down it all the time. This water covers the width of the road and in the recent freezing weather it has been like an ice rink. The surface needs repairing and the water needs channeling correctly. There is a water leak above the troughs which is exacerbating the problem. I have reported this to Severn trent
