Hawkins Lane, Rainow, 24th April
We regularly have a line of cars parked outside our house and down the road to the bad bend. This makes it difficult for us to get on and off our driveway. It also makes overtaking this line of cars towards a bad bend extremely difficult. This problem has been here since 2020 and is getting increasingly worse and people are getting ruder. A lot of the cars belong to residents of Hawkins Lane and beyond and then added to this are visitors and walkers who come up to Rainow.

Downhill section of road near the waterworks, 19th April
Pothole on left hand side of the road when heading towards Macclesfield. It’s near the downhill section just before the waterworks turning. It’s seems small and obscure but the gradient of the road makes it seem worse than what it is. The pothole looks like it’s forming from the road sinking rather than being errors away. It’s in line with the left hand car wheel.

Opposite gin clough, 19th April
Two large circular cracks in the road when heading towards rainow. They have been there months but have only gotten bigger the more that the road seems to be sinking in the area. The edge of the cracks in now in line with the left hand side wheel.

Sinking manhole on the bend from rainow to Macclesfield near Carlofold lane, 19th April
A small manhole is sinking when heading towards Macclesfield on the outskirt of rainow. It’s near carlofold lane. It’s not the biggest pothole but it has sunk quite a bit and is directly in line with the left hand car wheel.

Road has been flooding on the left hand side towards Macclesfield for a while now. It is at the base of the dry stone wall. Possible blocked drain but after any rain the flood covers the entirety of the road

2 sugar lane to 30, 18th April
The whole road is full of deep potholes and there is often no way round them as the road is thin. We’ve had a massive car repair bill and these holes need addressing as it’s been months now.

All along Hulley road, 17th April
Numerous pot holes which are now deep and need filling quickly please. My car tyres now need inflating every 10 days after travelling along this road frequently. Hoping I don’t get my 3rd blow out. You did actually pay out for one new tyre. Thank you. The second tyre you refused.
