Greenfields Shillington Bury Road Junction, 22nd April
Would the highways team like to come a sleep over in my house next to this awful road surface. As everytime a large vehicle or even a car going fast my whole house shakes and makes noise. I’m sick of having to post reports for nothing to be done. The whole junction requires resurfacing and also kerbs heightened for safety. It’s now beyond a joke.

Hanscombe end Road just south of Moorhen Farm on east side of road., 13th April
Large vehicles are cutting corner and have run the kerb into the ground and breaking the drainage pipe. Also the bank is being pushed into our ditch and a large vehicle is likely to slide into the ditch soon. This has been made much worse this last winter as there are more buses using the road and they don’t wait but just drive on the bank. You need to properly kerb this corner to stop the bank collapsing into the ditch.

Greenfields Junction With Bury Road, 11th April
I don’t know how many times I have to report this junction and road surface. The whole length of junction and bend needs resurfacing, the kerb raising and yellow lines reinstalling. My whole house shakes when cars and lorries drive around it or over now.

Field to the left and houses to the right after the model farm entrance, 5th April
There is a small but deep pothole along here in the driving lane of the car going towards the Pirton /Pegson junction that is progressively becoming worse. It can be avoided if no traffic is coming on the opposite direction. If you happen to drive over it, the noise is loud and you fear for your tyres.

Outside 1 Bury Road and 10 Bury Road, 2nd March
The road is flooded…again. Supposedly the 2 gutter drains/gullies, on both sides of the road, were cleaned out by a team a few weeks ago but the road is totally flooded again as the photos show and vehicles travelling through make bow-waves as the bus shows that flood onto our driveways. It stopped raining some hours ago and the water is still standing, so obviously the drains/gullies ( not sure what the proper term is) in the gutters are not working.

Near College Farm cottages on north side of road heading East, 1st March
I hit this pothole on Tue 28/02/24 at 1700 and it burst my tyre. A large 4x4 car forced me to the edge of the road. The hole is about 2 feet long and 3 inches deep with a very sharp edge at the eastern end which I hit. It cost me £250 for a new tyre which I will be submitting a claim for.
