Church Path, 20th January
Church Path recently had street lights installed down a very dark alley way .
This pathway leads to our local shop high st and primary school . For all the residents it’s a close and safe foot path to walk down .
However we have no lights the worked for 2 weeks MAX and have been turnt off again . What a waste of time and money !
I personally have a teenage child that uses this way to the school bus 7:20 am in the mornings it’s still dark this time of year and not reaching back home until 4:45 pm it’s getting dark .
I would like to know why this has been installed to be turnt off again it’s a worry and not looking after our community having no lighting .
I am fully aware there is houses closer by to the street lamps but they also have lights outside their houses on the high st so i dont see the problem these lights are more of a glow then a bright white light ..
Lastly we have always had problems with dog fouling down this path way now if it’s dark we are less likely to see this .
Thanks
