Deep trench on the north lane ( heading towards Stevenage), 26th February
A notorious corner for potholes, due to persistent flooding over the last few years. There is now a very deep trench underwater on the northern side of the road ( heading towards Stevenage) which is very dangerous for any 2 wheeled vehicle (bike / motor bike). The road should really be closed before there is a serious accident. Further around the corner there are now deep trenches - these holes have been marked for repair with white paint for 24 months but have not been done, now very dangerous too.

Dangerous street crossing near school, 29th January
The road crossing near the school is dangerous; it has no traffic lights, and there are none nearby, resulting in a constant stream of traffic from both directions. This makes it difficult for children to cross the road. The nearby school (Kinghott) has recently expanded to GCSE level, meaning the number of children using the bus stop will increase. Installing traffic lights should make it safer to cross the road and should not affect traffic flow for the rest of the day.
