Large pot hole in fast lane, 8th March
There is a big pothole in the fast lane heading towards Letchworth after the tunnel and before the roundabout (roughly where the top of the hill is). It is covering a good portion of the road and is deep and wide enough to cause damage to cars, especially if you hit it at 70 mph

All the way along Hatch Lane there are deep pot holes in the pull ins. In many places it's a single width, but with deep pot holes in the pull-ins it's a struggle to pull over far enough to let anything larger than the average car past.

Cables are loose and hanging., 17th November
Our HGV driver has reported that there are cables that are hanging very low at the side of the road. They have been poorly secured to hold them back from the road. Looks like a post is missing. He has had to avoid these. Unsure what the cables are for. Looks like they have been in this condition for a while - please see photos.

Traffic sign was showing compulsory 40mph speed limit at around 10am 24/6/23. This was not backed up by subsequent signage on approach to tunnel. It appeared that the sign was malfunctioning

The street light outside the church in church laneis NOT working properly. You set a message that it had been fixed and you had closed the problem as dealt with. It is NOT fixed, i live opposite and can guarantee that it occasionally comes on for an hour or so, then flickers once and goes Off. It might come on again but not for long. Please can you organise proper street light, it is the only light for access to the church. Thank you., 19th November
