Pedestrian crossing outside 17 High Street Biggleswade, 26th April
This problem has been reported several times over the last few months. The situation has not been resolved and now is a safety issue as pedestrians can trip on the crossing causing injury to themselves and damage to traffic. Someone will be injured because nobody from the council has acted on the information given over a long period of time.This is a serious matter of neglect and needs addressing now before someone is injured and the council sued for neglect.

Recycling bins on Normandy Lane, 24th April
These bins don't seem to get emptied, they have been overflowing all this week and this is not the first time I have reported this so perhaps the frequency of emptying needs to be increased?

On the Pelican Crossing outside Jones’ Cafe, 24th April
Despite previous reports this issue has not been fixed. Apart from the significant noise issue every time a vehicle goes over it, the edging around the manhole cover has collapsed and is a trip hazard for pedestrians using the crossing.

Just before the jordans mill bridge heading to Jordans Mill, 20th April
The road surface has began to sink along one whole side of the road. The otherside of the road is showing signs on sinking but not as bad as the other. The road had been sinking for at least 4 months. It is very hard to see this when driving and you won't know until you go over the road service in question. The concern is the road will continue to get worse and both sides of the road will become dangerous.

The new Bus and Rail information screen (which doesn’t actually work 75% of the time) in the bus station / “transport interchange” has got graffiti on it, see photo attached.
This is a council owned asset on council managed land, please ensure this is cleaned ASAP.

The hedges that belong to 140 Mead End are massively overgrown and encroach on the adjacent pavement. They need to be cut back and have done for years now. You have to walk single file on the pavement in parts as it’s so narrow.

Back of 159 Stratton Way, 17th April
I wish to complain about a local resident who has installed anti climb spikes directly opposite Ivel Valley Special Needs School. As a parent who takes my child to school on a daily basis and uses this route, I’m concerned that the spikes do not seem to be installed very securely, particularly with the recent strong winds. I’m worried they could fall off and injure a young child on their way to/from school, the footpath to school entrance here is very narrow and someone could harm themselves. From the photo evidence provided:
There is no signage on the fence or property to indicate spikes have been installed.
The fence is less than 2 metres in height. A higher minimum height restriction may apply for certain locations or where children may be present (at least 2.4 metre recommendation).
It is on a public highway including a footpath.
Spiked anti climb devices are not appropriate around many environments such as schools.
It is directly facing Ivel Valley Special Needs School and many parents use this path as there are two entrances located in close proximity to this property, a main entrance for road users and the pedestrian entrance which this resident’s property faces. As you can see the green fencing is Ivel Valley School’s boundary and very close proximity to the school.
