Blocked footpath., 17th March
Vehicles regularly blocking footpath across their drives after 5pm. Very difficult to go around them as the verge has been churned up by the same vehicles.

Kerb out of position causing tyre sidewall to split and damage to n/s/f alloy wheel, 15th March
The kerb is out of alignment with the rest and following a slow speed impact our car suffered an instant sidewall puncture and damage to the wheel as the tyre deflated.
We were collecting an item from 35 Spencer Road.
We travelled along the road and saw where we needed to stop. I went to pull into the nearside kerb and the incident occurred. There was a lady in an ice cream van who witnessed the incident and who called out a local tyre fitter to replace our damaged wheel/tyre with our spare space saver.
I paid him £20 for his time and now need a new Komoron 17” Winter tyre ( damaged one tread was as new ) and to get the wheel repaired.
The kerb mis alignment is the sole cause of the matter. I am not happy and seek your response and remuneration for the unnecessary and expensive out of pocket expenses that have been incurred.

Blocked surface water drains leading to permanent running water across the road, 17th February
For over seven years the drains down Great Burches Road have been blocked. Essex Highways has attended and cleared some but always gives up before completion. When the weather is cold the road freezes over with ice and slush. Even in summer the blocked drains prevent run off leading to slippery and dangerous conditions for pedestrians, cyclists, horse traffic and motor vehicles.

Flooding on Pound Lane next to Burnt Mills Road, 12th February
The drains on Pound Lane near the Burnt Mills junction gets flooded really badly after a heavy rain shower. I suspect the drains are blocked as they become overflowed and thus flood the road.

Abandoned car December 2023 NK13YSV, 11th February
This car has has been parked in Clare Road since December 2023. I have phoned the police twice,the council once and chatted to the traffic warden issuing the tickets and nobody wants to deal with it because it is taxed, insured and motd . Surely something seriously wrong is apparent, the owner lives locally ,according to the police, common sense should prevail and for someone to visit the owner.

Potholes on A13 London Road west bound between Kent’s hill lights and Tarpots, 10th February
Hi have reported this area before but nothing done to repair as yet . Again to the motorist it’s totally unacceptable. My last pothole damage cost me £175 . That was A13 Tilbury area. Please help fix. Thank you.
