Street light out, 9th March
Street light has been out for a couple of days in the hammer head, top of Cagefield Road. This is a rural area and very dark, lack of streetlight is a security problem especially for pedestrians

Street light in hammer head not working, 23rd October
Cagefield Road, light at top of hammer head. This light has been out for several nights. Very dark road as we are in rural area and worried for security of pedestrians and property

Dangerous drain cover, 24th March
On the first bend of the Stambridge Road (heading towards Stambridge), just out of Weir Pond Road there is a sunken drain cover where the surrounding tarmac has disappeared, particularly dangerous for cyclists coming out of Rochford and heading east.

Very deep pothole between Royal Oak and Apron Hall Rd on left travelling North. Accident waiting to happen. Cars swerve out to avoid it. Would take a motorcyclist off his bike!

Loose Manhole Cover with Road Damage, 16th October
There is a dangerous loose manhole cover on the Stambridge Road, Great Stambridge near to the entrance of Ashtree Court. The road beneath is now coming up and loose around the cover and it looks like it could become a danger to motorists.

Dumped rubbish, 5th February
There has been a lot of rubbish (broken up tiled fireplace, large cardboard box with polystrene. Old carpets and and curtain poles etc)This is a problem that has been occuring for about the last three years. The flats that are responsible are primarily Housing Association properties. I have been in touch with them but they say there is nothing they can do to stop it happening.

Weeds and Litter, 23rd March
From where I live to the main road the footpaths are in a disgusting state. Nobody seems to keep the public footpaths clear at all. Particulary the opposite side oof the road there is a lot of weeds that grow from the garden on the left hand corner on entering Cagefield Road.
