18 inch pothole in middle of road, 7th April
The pothole is approximately 3cm deep and is getting worse every day. It has been there for 3 months. There are also a number of smaller potholes in the same bit of road.

Zebra crossing, 5th April
I have lived on this road for 9 years and trying to cross this road is impossible due to the amount of traffic. I continually see people waiting and waiting to cross and the nearest crossing on this road is way further up the road near Thorpe road and Brookside. The problem is you have to cross the road here to go into Hockley as the pavement doesn't exist on one side of the road. It is very dangerous trying to cross over and there are a lot of older people in the area.

Foot long pothole along a manhole, 14th March
This pothole, which is adjacent to a manhole cover right at the junction of Sweyne Avenue and Rectory Road has been steadily deteriorating over the past 18 months or so. Not only is it a hazard for vehicle turning into Sweyne Avenue but it is additionally dangerous as it is going to damage the manhole cover in due course.

18in pothole approx 6in deep, 24th February
A narrow strip of road which has previously been repaired at least twice, has once again started to break up. The road is narrow at this point and cars are moving towards the centre line and oncoming traffic, to avoid. This is clearly dangerous. Previous repairs have been inadequate. Public resource is being wasted repairing the same section of road more than once.

Due to numerous potholes on this bend, cars are swerving towards the centre lines and oncoming traffic to avoid. This is clearly dangerous to all road users. A whole section of road, approx 25m, is cracking and breaking up. Recent rain has made this section of road much worse.

Severely blocked drain, 18th February
This drain that is currently outside my house No.2 Brays Lane and is severely blocked causing flooding which is now leading to a pot hole. The drain has been flooded for OVER 3 months and has been reported MULTIPLE times. I’m extremely angry as I have just gone to get my newborn baby in the car and myself and baby have been completely socked by a car driving past. I also went to pull off my drive last week when a car drove past and completely covered my windscreen to which I then could not see which resulted in me nearly having a head collision with another vehicle. Cars are driving past and water is flooding onto my drive causing debris to fly and hit my car, my car has now sustained multiple scratches. The flooding is taking up the whole side of the road causing significant harm to the public. We live right next door to a residential care home and as you can imagine this is also a great risk to them. We live right near primary schools so children are continuously walking up and down this UNSAFE road. My drive and cars are completely ruined and if this does not get fixed within immediate effect I will be claiming for compensation.
