Tue, 02 Apr 2024 14:20:28 +0100

I am fed up having to put up with this day in day out. it has to stop know!! This is an ongoing problem outside my house. people who live in number 15 and 16 Tasman close continue to fly tip and leave bags or rubbish all over the green. they dont even try to keep there rubbish in there bins always over full. And they just dump black bags and other materials on the floor. The council has put a sign up to say no fly tipping.but it does not stop them from keep dumping rubbish. which attracts cats foxs and mice We even had some one on a push bike ride along and dump a carpet there because there think its a local dumping ground. Also i had an infestation of mice ever since people have been dumping rubbish on the green outside my house. which i have never ever had mice in all the 60 + years of living here. I have lived here all my life and only until the new residents have moved in and know we have has this problem. Also people not taking there bins back after the binman has been. so we having to put up with the unsightly mess and the smell of bins being left and not collected after waste collection.

Tue, 12 Mar 2024 19:01:39 +0000

This road, probably reconstructed as the Stanford Le Hope bypass in the 1920s, connects Corringham to the A13 and Basildon. The culvert, draining Langdon Hills under the road and towards “Maple Creek”, after a generation of neglect, now regularly floods. It and the roadside ditch require to be cleared and flushed back to the state of 100 years ago.

The location I have chosen is just the start of the road condition! The whole road for around 1/2 mile is awful! This needs to be a total resurface to that part of the road! Its got more patches along that road than a 1000 piece jigsaw has pieces.

Five broken road signs at 70 MPH Junction, 6th February

Tue, 06 Feb 2024 11:33:18 +0000
51.551196 0.463708

Just inside Thurrock, there is a hidden right angled junction. It was built 35 years ago to serve the “5 Bells” pub and Hovels equestrian farm. It makes a cross roads on the Eastbound off swept slip to join the A176 to Basildon Hospital etc. It is now a rat run plagued by HGVs. The sat nav says turn left so they do and have smashed down the instruction signs, including the lit pair mandating a speed limit and no entry down the slip road for a 140 MPH RTA. Why the picture of a taxi next to poorly repaired potholes? They are there because that is where the 60 MPH vehicle does an emergency stop realising the one in front is getting stuck trying to turn left into a farm access road. The solution is to replace the missing signs and make it impossible for trucks to turn left. Covid is no longer an excuse for inaction.

Potholes A13 Essex, 23rd January

Tue, 23 Jan 2024 14:54:08 +0000
51.547638 0.468259

Both carriageways, East and West of the A13 between Basildon and Pitsea are begining to brake up. This needs completely resurfacing. Also the eastbound flyover joints at Pitsea need smoothing out. As the A13 is a major road serving London and Essex I feel that these works should be considered as a health and safety priority.

Water leak, plus cold weather, on a tight bend., 10th January

Wed, 10 Jan 2024 04:27:16 +0000
51.547197 0.46704

Ever since the new houses started to be built there has constantly been puddles on this bend. I can only assume that there is some sort of leak as the puddles were still there all throughout the summer. But now we are coming into the coldest part of the year, that bend is going to become very dangerous due to the ice that will occur. Water plus cold weather on a fairly tight bend is just asking for accidents.
