Huge amounts of planks of wood, 22nd January
Drove this road tonight, between Rawreth Lane and Richlee Roundabout there is large planks of wood or broken planks strewn over the road. Due to no street lighting you don't see this until it's too late at actually do anything when your travelling at 50mph

Car spun out of control, 16th January
In good driving conditions, not speeding, car spun out of control. Then happened to my boss. Two further reports this morning on social media and I saw another vehicle myself. 100% something on the road, but not immediately obvious, that is extremely dangerous.

Cause of recent flooding, 9th January
The whole of Watery Lane was recently closed due to the rain/flooding. Reason: All the drains were blocked by silt from the adjacent fields and are still blocked today. This is a constant problem as the drainage is not checked and cleaned regularly. In addition there are several dead trees and undergrowth at the side of the road just waiting to fall because they are only held up by the dead branches.
