Dangerous Parking, 22nd April

Mon, 22 Apr 2024 01:10:32 +0100
50.96796 -1.332758

There are a lot of vehicles parking on double yellow lines, on both sides of road. They are parking right at the end of the junction of Sayers Road/Fair Oak Road. This is very dangerous, as cars turning into Sayers Road are either forced to immediately overtake them (into the path of vehicles coming head on) or suddenly stop, which will cause a serious accident.

The whole road surface is uneven and has big dips, 18th April

Thu, 18 Apr 2024 09:19:36 +0100
50.969669 -1.355446

The whole road surface is bricked and has collapsed. If this was concrete or tarmac then the potholes would be huge but because it’s bricks it undulates vastly. I fear for my safety on my bike because I have to navigate slowly around these potholes and car drivers are impatient around me as they’re trying to reach the traffic lights as fast as possible. I can’t go any faster because this damaged road surface will damage my bike

Cars park too close to junction/ moon close togetger, 15th March

Fri, 15 Mar 2024 15:31:28 +0000
50.982025 -1.350587

Cars are CONTINUOUSLY parking right at the end of the junction. **According to the Highway Code, you must not park within 10 meters (32 feet) of a junction, unless in an authorized parking space. This applies to all junctions, including T-junctions and roundabouts** Making it near impossible to see pedestrians, difficult to view any traffic coming down the junction road and not to mention the cars parked so close together on opposite sides of the road it’s IMPOSSIBLE to large emergency vehicles down the road. Please look into this as it has been going on for a considerable amount of time, consider double yellow line marking 10meters back from the junction entrance.
