I think Madonna wrote a song about it called Deeper and Deeper, 27th March
This one is soo deep you can actually now see the layers and layers of road surface having been built up over the years. This is the 5th time I’ve given you a nudge to fix this one. It’s beyond a hole now, so big it has its own postcode. What do you reckon you could get it filled in as an early Easter present for all the local drivers please? Fix it now rating 20/10.

2 problems- potholes and road flaws around manhole under the railway bridge, 26th March
The pothole on the southbound carriageway is now wide and deep. The pothole on the northbound carriageway is beside the manhole cover. This has been repaired before: both are difficult to see under the bridge especially in wet weather. Dangerous for cyclists and difficult for drivers

Road surface breaking up under bridge, 22nd March
The road continually deteriorates under the bridge and is constantly being reported. All that happens in someone comes along and chucks some tarmac in the hole and thinks all will be okay. This is ridiculous as the whole area needs a complete resurfacing job right across the area. I have hit the potholes myself and it is not a pleasant experience. You have to watch where you are driving to avoid them and, especially if coming down the hill, this means being distracted from watching for traffic coming in the other direction. I have reported this area before and I notice that several other people have recently done the same. Please put some urgency into doing a proper job this time.

Like a rip in the space time continuum, 21st March
As reported I see by others, this is a big pot hole area. Like it has its own gravitational pull. There are two now, one is collapsing around the man hole that’s right under the bridge, and the other is about 2 feet to the side. It’s all about choice here, which pot hole shall I hit? Because you have to hit one of them. Or just mount the kerb?
The recent road works to the south have made everything here a bit worse. Both holes and the whole road surface around them is deteriorating by the hour.
Fix it now rating 11/10.

Substantial pothole and road degradation, 19th March
Following a "fix" that involved dumping some tarmac into the hole, this pothole has returned. The road around it has degraded to a mess - there is a deep hole and along the line of the road broken surface. The inspection cover on the other side of the road is surrounded by broken road surface. It's a mess. Meanwhile that section of road is closed for gas works further up the road - surely now is the time to fix this properly while the traffic control is in place?

A boy racer’s dream, 9th March
This wise and shallow pot hole has recently taken on water but it’s not likely to sink. It’s cuts up really nicely as the road is lifted here and on an upward slope. It is ideal for wheel spinning ( front wheel drive only vehicles of course ) as the spewed out gravel and tarmac is nice and loose and it’s easy to spin the wheels as you pull out on the T-junction. The boy racers are really enjoying, and the gravel pile is spreading out across a wider area. Classic stuff, but needs filling in . Fix it now Rating 7/10

Drive into the pothole, or hit a parked car? The choice is yours., 9th March
This pothole has popped up quite quickly just a few feet from an indentical one last year. It’s got a nice depths and width, good for smashing up a tyre of a suspension part. It’s located exactly at the distance from the kerb to be spot on for you to hit. If you swerve around it, you hit the wing mirror of a car parking opposite. Or you can try and undercut it but then you stand a high chance of mounting the kerb. Either way, it’s a high fix it now rating at 9/10.

The Alresford Grand Canyon, 1st March
This section of road under the old Railway Line in Jacklyns Lane Alresford is being referred to as ‘ The Alresford Grand Canyon’ The Road section here isn’t just a pothole, it’s gradually eroding away into a 30 foot section of mess. Each partial Road fix is falling and degrading into the previous one. The photo I have taken just doesn’t do it justice. Pop by when you are free and have a look for yourself. This whole section needs a full Road surface replacement. No doubt about it. For now, it is horrendous. Vehicles have to choose the best route under the bridge, having to take into account either splashing pedestrians with water or mounting the kerb to avoid doing this. It’s made 100 times worse when it’s rained. But it doesn’t rain much, oh …wait. Yes it does. This section needs to be resurfaced. Very soon please. Fix it now rating : 10/10
