Years of sodden leaves and mud blocking safe use of pavement, 14th November
This pavement is the main access for my neighbour in a wheelchair, used by pushchair users, elderly people and is the main access to the nursery. Years of sodden leaves and therefore mud have accumulated and it needs a mini street sweeper to come and clear the pathway from the post box on the corner of groves close down to 4 groves close. It is slippery and muddy and can't safely be used over the wet autumn and winter seasons without risk.

Litter all along the A34, 13th March
The litter along the verges of the whole of the A34 is worse than ever and I have not seen any evidence of litter being collected in the last 15 months. I have noted that previous reports of the problem are marked as closed but clearly without anything being done. It is a disgrace.

Broken bins in play park - hazardous., 3rd November
This fenced children's play-park has two big square bins BUT there’s no bottom or liner so nappies dog poo broken glass and other waste is open to vermin and children - not hygienic or good for child safety or public health. There are a good number of Winchester green wheelie bins on other footpaths and play parks in the area. Could a green wheelie bin be put into one of the square bin holders in this play park please? Many thanks. Concerned dog walker & grandparent.

So many leaves have blocked the drains - road flooded, 3rd November
There are so many leaves on the road that 2 or 3 drains are completely blocked by leaves and a 100 metre stretch of road has standing water over 10 cm deep from kerb to crown. Hazardous for pedestrians as the spray goes 5 metres covering the pavement with children on it. Hazardous for cyclists and motorbikes. Hazardous for motorists in both directions who cannot easily see the flooding and some swerve to avoid it and it’s hard to brake. Needs more regular street & drain cleaning and ideally a guard to keep leaves out of the drains. Seems a frequent hazard. Thanks

Black locust tree causing damaging to my car, 28th May
We moved in at 38 downs road about two years ago, it is a council property. We have a dropped curb & tree hanging over it which means the council out in the drive under the tree! The tree has been cut back twice because of dead limbs & debris falling onto drive, we have always had a serious problem with bird mess. The last time the tree was cut back has actually made the problem even worse! It's has become disgusting, there is bird mess everywhere, I am having to to jet wash the car & drive nearly every day. I will not park the car on the road either as two cars have been wrote off already. My partner is disabled & has mobility problems which is another reason that I have to park car in our drive. I have spoken the council but not really getting anywhere. This problem is now starting to damage my car & it's just becoming a disgusting disease ridden mess.

Overgrown trees, 22nd September
These trees have self seeded and nobody will take responsibility for them. They are dangerously high with dead wood and tree ivy enveloping them. Branches have already broken off and as it is used by pedestrians and horse riders it is incredibly dangerous

Rainwater pouring off of bridge like a waterfall onto the A34 below., 23rd December
There is a considerable amount of rainwater pouring from this bridge onto the A34 at this location, unusually so as to make me wonder if an expansion joint or rain gully has failed. I mention this since the water falling onto the A34 is unexpected and hits vehicles with enough force as to be startling to drivers who may over-react.
It is difficult to tell from a moving vehicle however I believe that there is already an indentation in the tarmac on the A34 from where the water is falling from the bridge above.
Please note that I am not suggesting that the integrity of the bridge has been compromised rather that there is an anomaly with it since the other bridges that I regularly pass under do not have their own waterfalls onto the road below. The reason as to why there is so much water falling from this bridge is, however, arguably cause for concern.
