Three potholes, 24th April
Three potholes on Compton bound cariageway, forming a triangle. As so, they are impossible to miss for cars and possibly Motor bikes. Not wide as yet, but deep, so eventually will breakup futher, causing greater danger.

Flooded public footpath alongside Itchen, Shawford, 14th April
The public footpath running along the eastern side of the River Itchen in Shawford is flooded in several places between Compton Lock and The Bridge pub making it difficult to pass. In places, water is flowing over the path (ie it's not puddles of water).

Pedestrian Crossing showed green man, motorist sped past anyway and nearly ran us over (traffic lights not in sync with pedestrian lights?), 12th April
Near miss crossing at the cross roads yesterday (my wife and child were nearly run over by a motorist). Green man was showing on the lights pictured but a car shot past from our right. I know those lights were reported to be playing up within the last week or two. It’s possible they are working fine but the driver ignored/didn’t see the red light. Please look into this for everyone’s safety.

Large branch fallen but suspended, 28th March
We live at hunters moon, poles lane, Otterbourne, so21 2ds. Between our house and the M3 is a strip of land owned by highways England. It contains a large number of trees. A large branch is broken but suspended and call fall anytime especially in the high winds. I am concerned it could damage your fencing and our property when it eventually falls. Photographic evidence provided. I have photographic evidence but can’t see where to attach it.

Drain/ manhole cover loose, 24th March
Whenever a car drives over it there is a loud double crash. You can hear this in the next street. Road is crumbling around it.

Gravel has been across the pavement since the storm shortly before 5th Jan. when I first reported the need for this part of Main Road B3354 to be included in HCC's remedial sweeping

Gravel washed down Woodland Drove has not been cleared from along Main Road B3354, 16th February
The gravel was deposited by the storms in early January. I reported the deposits to HCC and asked HCC to include the B3354 when sweeping locally. Sweeping often ends at the Highbridge Road junction. The B3335 has been swept, but B3354 still has gravel deposits, as shown.

Gravel was been washed down Woodland Drove. A large pile has been collected at the foot of the northern sign for Woodland Drove, however the pavement is still totally covered!, 16th February

Drain collapsing and blocked by gravel, 16th February
The drain at the end of Woodland Drove needs clearing regularly. A deep puddle forms and all passing vehicles cause a large splash across the pavement. Edges of the road surface are now crumbling and the drop is approx. 10cm.

Large pothole on bend and in the middle of the lane., 29th January
Avoidance of this pothole risks collision. The hole has been there for over two months now, as have all the other surface damages on this stretch of road.

Sunken drain cover, 6th January
Reported this sunken drain cover (and adjacent potholes) to Council but they said it wasn't their responsibility(!!) so assuming it must be Southern Water's responsibility. It has sunk about 6 inches at least lower than the road surface and you need to drive in the middle of the road to avoid it. Can this be passed to Southern Water if it doesn't reach them, rather than just ignoring it as "not my job" HCC
