No visibility when pulling out onto A272 from Rodfield Lane, 9th July
The verge and hedge obscure the view so it is impossible to see if cars are approaching. This is a busy A road and the junction is hidden. Basically it is necessary to turn blind onto the road and hope for the best. I would usually avoid this junction (especially turning right towards Winchester) but there is a diversion in place which makes its use necessary. Unfortunately the diversion signs only add to the poor visibility.

The road-sign at this location has been badly damaged, presumably by an RTA. This is one of several signs recently damaged on this stretch of road heading towards Petersfield, although this particular one has been down for some time.
