Southampton City Council are about to spend £500,000 on a road closure, nemly Portswood Broadway a major thoroughfare in and out of the city that thousands of local residents expressly stated they don't wan when we have these kind potholes all over the city. WE NEED TO VOCALLY PROTEST otherwise this council will just carry on making our lives more difficult to satisfy their own agendas,

Careless driver parks where he wants, 10th December
Man parks where he wants. Parks on pavement blocking pavement. When pointed out it's not a parking space he says 'it is now'. Pavement parking is really blighting the street. It blocks people trying to walk down the road and causes damage to the pavement.

Bin litter sprawled accross the pavement., 25th November
There is constantly overflowing bins and litter on the street when I walk past this house. It is a massive problem for accessibility, not to mention attracting vermin and environmental issues.

More then 7 person llegal and illegal living in house, 6th October
In the 34 Bullar Street postcode so1 40nh. this is the 3 bed rooms house. the landlord gived this property to one illegal person his name is shakeel . living illegalhere from last 20years . that person doing look after of this house and they gives the rooms on rent to students and in one room there are living 2 or 3 persons. they made a shutter in garden area. in that shutter there are one or two persons living as well. in three bed rooms house there are living more then 7 persons which llegal and illegal. they make more then £1000 a week on this house. the unbelievable think is that they take the minimum rent per person 350-700£/month and they taking the rent from persons cash & hand. they are not accepting account payments. the shakeel abbasi rented one moe house on derby road well and they putting 3 and 4 students in one room in that house and taking cash & hand money. i want to investigate that house and that person. thanks

Rubbish spilling over street and pavement, 30th January
Stayed overnight in one of the many guesthouses here to attend theatre production. There seem to be derelict properties with rubbish, mattresses etc dumped and spilling over onto the pavement, as well as an abandoned car.

This morning st 8.30am tge traffic lights at the extremely busy civic centre/ portland Terrace junction were not working. They were still not working at 6pm. This means traffic from all directions are trying to go at the same time

Noise and damage from vibrations of Large Vehicles, 22nd August
My house is situated on the corner of Midanbury Lane and Bitterne Road West. The stretch of road outside my house runs from the Station pub to the speed Camera further up Bitterne Rd West, the road is very straight and cars/motorbikes and lorries frequently break the speed limit causing the issues listed below.
Cars speeding in excess of 30 miles per hour causing high emissions and excessive noise, it is bad enough dealing with the clouds of exhaust fumes and is also exceptionally dangerous to pedestrians. The excess speeding at night by noisy cars and motorbikes frequently causes us to be shock woken, as you can imagine this is very debilitating, it is causing anxiety and has started to affect our mental wellbeing. An increase of HGV’s passing in excess of 30 mph cause my entire house to vibrate, the HGV’s often send clouds of foul smelling emissions out making it impossible to have any of the front windows of the house open. The cracked and uneven road surface outside my property causes vibrations and consequently tiles have fallen off of the roof and cracks are appearing in the walls of my house. Having lived here for 8 years I have noticed the road has got busier with heavier vehicles passing at speed.
