Traffic Lights knock out of position, 5th February
13.35 on 05/02/2024. 'T' Junction of University Road and Burgess Road traffic lights have been knocked out of viewable alignment. Drivers (from University Road) are unable to determine when the lights will change sequence and who has priority.

Lane markings confusing and impossible to determine, 1st February
There are two sections of road where the lane markings are almost impossible to see, especially when the sun is low in the mornings. I’ve attached one video showing the area directly alongside the runway, I have a couple of others I can send (but bigger files)
I wouldn’t normally get in touch (assuming someone else will), but I’ve had two incidents myself now where cars have drifted across my lane and swerved when realising they’re following the wrong road markings. An accident is waiting to happen.

Unable to see White lines. M27 jct 5-7 worse east bound., 15th January
Lane markings not present. Worn off. Lanes Confusing with previous road work markings. Worse on concrete sections just after jct 5 east bound. Impossible to see lane marking when sun low or when wet. Cars drifting into next lane as so unclear. This stretch of road is very unsafe. Lane markings need renewing ASAP please.

White lines not visible and confusing with tarmac seam in road, 8th January
Even though I know the problem, I still struggle to identify the lane and am drawn into the lane running parallel. This is always the case, but is even worse at night, and when wet.
The same problem exists around Jct 7. It is very dangerous and is an accident waiting to happen.

There is a very large pothole outside my driveway in the middle of the road. Which is just getting bigger and bigger. Its been there for at least 3 months.

Careless driver parks where he wants, 10th December
Man parks where he wants. Parks on pavement blocking pavement. When pointed out it's not a parking space he says 'it is now'. Pavement parking is really blighting the street. It blocks people trying to walk down the road and causes damage to the pavement.

Are impossible to see when it is wet and sunny with the sun low. I nearly crashed into another vehicle as it looked like both of us couldn’t tell where the lanes were

Confusing lines, 5th November
Road surface is yellow not black tarmac. When motorway was converted to a smart motorway this stretch of road wasn't resurfaced? Now there are multiple conflicting lane markings and in wet or sunny weather, the new white lines are very difficult to see against the yellow road surface, resulting in cars drifting between lanes which is extremely dangerous.

Wet with Sunshine Hard to see, 5th November
For the last few month the road is very dangerous with the markings. When it’s wet and the sun shines onto surface it looks like your keeping to your lane but your not as it’s the repairs to the road and not the white lines. I believe the surface would need to be replaced to resolve. I will report this to IAM too

Persistent loud beeping at night for last hour, 19th October
Beeping appears to come from south. Consists of mostly two high pitched beeps and then a pause, but sometimes the second beep is shorter for a while or there is a third beep for a while.
