Speeding vehicles on safety sensitive part of B4361, 4th March

Mon, 04 Mar 2024 10:11:49 +0000
52.326868 -2.742712

This hill descent at national speed limit is not encouraging vehicles to slow to 40mph. The road services homes and the village hall with poor visibility day and night for patrons to pull off car park. Also youngsters could run into road with unrestricted access. First prize would be 30mph as per main village through route (Herefordshire border) and regular speeding enforcement, but minimum of a flashing sign tracking speed and smiling / caution images (as found on other village roads in Shropshire).

Water from road flooding my sheds and garden, 9th December

Sat, 09 Dec 2023 08:46:09 +0000
52.331188 -2.744983

Hello. I’ve reported this several times. Had meeting with council inspectors - they are organising camera to check drain. I understand the problem of exceptional bad weather - but the rain last night wasn’t unusual - yet our property flooded again. I had new treatment plant and soak away installed two years ago - this designed to cope with our house but is saturated and overflowing with water from the road as this just streams through our garden into our sewerage system. Also - the road is covered in water - if freezes this will be a sheet of ice on a narrow busy lane. Trevor Morris

Overgrown footpath, 31st October

Tue, 31 Oct 2023 17:22:00 +0000
52.32384 -2.741687

Overgrown roadside footpath (i.e. pavement) which requires the verge cutting back (due to overspill of new hedging branches, briars & weeds across the pavement) for the safety of users walking up from the village to the village hall. It is a stretch of pavement approximately 150m-200m long on the west side of the B4361, running northwards from the start of the newly planted hedgerow for the boundary of the recently completed building development of nine houses (just about opposite the turning to Park Lane) up to the field-gate opposite Holly Cottage (where the Public Footpath joins the B4361 from the west).

Flooding from road, 26th October

Thu, 26 Oct 2023 11:54:24 +0100
52.331132 -2.744983

Hello. I submitted a report about hour ago for same postcode and problem - this is additional information. I tried to attach this to last report but couldn’t find on your system - can you please join them - thanks. Additional: The water on road (previous report) increased - ran down drive - when reached the top of the barrier into the garage I dug ditches in verge to stop garage flooding. Water ran flooded tool/lathe workshop, filled pond with muggy water (I hope wildlife survives) and stream down garden. I add photos. To another report - can you please put them all together - thanks.
