Attempted obstruction of right of way - offered diversion, 23rd June
Attempted diversion of public right of way over ORPA. Obstructed with parked vehicle blocking access via car or larger. Motorcycle able to pass, landowner asked us to divert over alternative route she'd signposted. We were not straying from the marked byway. Landowner was polite and advice given to her to contact local authority to begin official diversion proceedings. I believe the alternative route offered to be sufficient if officially registered

Unauthorised Diversion of unclassified road, 18th June
The road past The Camp north of Upper Lye has been diverted through a field. There is no firm surface, it may become muddy in winter and a slight side slope in places. This is not a minor detour, but for a few hundred metres about a 100m south of Camp Cottage where it should be. Is there legality issues and possible insurance implications? Will this be officially diverted by s116?
