Damaged verge and walkway., 25th April
This verge has been destroyed by oversized vehicles trying to pass each other on a road that is too narrow. This is a pedestrian and vehicle carriageway and the damaged area of the verge is just 100yards from the very the busy Longnor school. If a car is forced to use this side of the road with a large vehicle coming from the other direction the damage to the car would be grave and more importantly where does a pedestrian go to avoid being run over. I have just witnessed a lady who had to climb the steep verge to avoid being run over by a 40ton lorry. Please give this serious consideration.

This could have been sorted weeks ago now it is a huge problem and a matter of time before someone's vehicle is a right off especially in the rain as cant gauge the depths - we have no choice but to travel the road as residents - please advise when the work will be done its no good just saying its pending - emergency services wont be able to assess next what happens then? We need to be able to speak to someone to find out what's happening soon.

Impassible road on way to tourist destination, 11th April
This whole lane is becoming impassable and constantly causing damage to vehicles.
As this is the road to an extremely popular walking spot, the heavy use and poor maintenance has led to an almost unbelievably fast deterioration of the lane. In the past two weeks at least three cars have damaged their tires — breakdown services called on two occasions! This proves how urgently this needs to be fixed as it’s not just residents who use this lane, it’s surprisingly busy with tourists, due to The Lawley, who are oblivious to the state of the road until it is too late.
This issue has been reported multiple times for literal months and the road has reached the point where if nothing is done the damage caused to cars will only increase.
This isn’t the only problem on the lane but it’s infamously the worst and I’d say now classes as an emergency.

PLEASE PLEASE can this road be looked at as a matter of urgency? It is getting worse by the day and despite numerous reports, nothing is being done.
Access to multiple homes and businesses is now being affected with staff struggling to gain access to a local care home without damaging their cars.
Who will be paying for their repairs?

Heavy Vehicles repeatedly drive over grass verges., 7th March
A serious problem for the residents of Longnor is that frequently heavy vehicles, especially tractors, drive over the verges at the edge of the road. Our house suffers particularly from this. We own the grass verge along the road and Vehicles have encroached onto this. This creates a great deal of mud and is very unsightly, and frequently blocks the drainage grid. It is stressful to those of us that try to mow the grass and keep it tidy. The photo is the latest example from earlier today. Could the council please erect some proper structures to identify the edge of the road, eg kerbs or marker posts.and hopefully prevent vehicles from driving over the grass . Thank You
