Curb stones damaged and safety concerns, 29th April

Mon, 29 Apr 2024 12:54:24 +0100
52.793087 -2.966446

I was wondering if you could point me in the direction of the department that could look at the road/safety barriers at the front of our house. We live in The Avenue (Sy108hq) and are concerned about the speed the vehicles are approaches the fork of the road, especially at night, when there are no lights. Some of the road signs/reflective barriers have either been knocked down or damaged. This week we have also had a HGV lorry try and turn left at the end of the junction which is pretty much a 90 degree turn and ripped up couple of the high curbs. (Picture attached) I would appreciate somebody coming out to look at the issues and welcome any suggestions on how we could make it safer. Regards

Flooding, 7th April

Sun, 07 Apr 2024 16:48:05 +0100
52.810318 -2.943109

Flooding continues here after I have raised case after case. No one seems to take responsibility. Now getting dangerous as the drain the excess water is supposed to flow into is getting clogged with debris. Can we at least have a couple of sand bags to sort out the flow from the picture from stream coming out onto lane? Advise who is responsible please? Many thanks

Road floods where The Weirbrook crosses under the road at Elbridge ., 9th February

Fri, 09 Feb 2024 08:35:40 +0000
52.810462 -2.943669

The rain water pours off the field where The Weirbrook is located , it is filled with debris and mud from the field and the water course is blocked , it is a very long standing problem which causes an impassable flood and damage to the road exacerbated by the road being used as a rat run that motorists use to avoid Shotatton crossroads on the A5 , I’m not sure if the brook is damaged under the road or if it’s the amount of debris coming of the field causing the issue but it is a long standing problem that sees vehicles often stuck in the flood and causing damage to cars . I appreciate that you’re incredibly busy but this is a very longstanding problem that needs addressing.
