No wheelchair access around road works, 28th January
Road works on Heol Maengwyn has blocked the entire width of the pavement. There are cones marking an area for pedestrians to walk in the road to get around the blocked area. But there are no ramps or dropped kerbs at either side, so there's no way for wheelchair users to get off the pavement and around the blocked area.

Awful pavement for wheelchairs, 11th November
I use a wheelchair and it's quite a good one, and this bit of pavement is really terrible. It's so hard to push myself along it, that it's actually easier to just roll along the road instead, which is obviously also more dangerous. Please make it smoother!
I live in number 65, and my friend who also uses a wheelchair lives at number 80, and this is the pavement we have to roll along to visit each other. There is no pavement on the other side of the road so it's not optional. And there are two men on my road who use power chairs, and there's lots of parents with small children around too who use prams. But my friend and I use manual wheelchairs and self-propel, which means we have to push our own entire body weight plus the weight of our chairs with our arms, and it is a really really terrible pavement.
