Entire road from A483 to end is a disaster., 6th March
Entire section of rod is a disgrace. Drains full. Road surface destroyed. More patches than pot holes. Huge holes by church and on bridge. Vehicles damaged regularly. I’ve seen roads in Middle East war zones that have been cluster bombed in better condition. A disgrace.

Numerous Potholes and very bad road surface, 8th May
We have noticed recently that a number of local roads have been resurfaced, e.g. parts of the road to Forden and the lane behind the houses (originally council houses) which face the playing field in Montgomery. Whilst not wishing to complain about this, we find it both frustrating and incomprehensible that the road from Llandyssil to the B4386 (through Court Carmel Farm) is now so bad as to be dangerous to the point of causing damage to ones vehicle and ones life. In some sections of this road you have to drive on the wrong side of the road to avoid the numerous very deep potholes. Surely it is time that this entire stretch of road was resurfaced before it becomes another road like Sutton road (up the Hill road) that becomes `Unsuitable for motor vehicles`. We reported this problem before and you came and filled in some of the holes, but less than a month later they were as bad as ever. Surely an agreement could be reached with the farmer to resurface the road at a mutually convenient time e.g. overnight.

Deep potholes recurring, 21st October
Several deep potholes are reappearing in this short very narrow stretch of single track road. Because the width of the road is so narrow it is very difficult to avoid dropping a wheel into one of them, which significantly increases the risk of suspension/wheel damage. Needs urgent attention by Powys CC Highways Dept.

Multiple pot holes making the road almost impassable, plus dep pot holes on the road before the farm., 2nd March
Multiple pot holes ranging in size from 30-80 cm, to the extent that serious damage to suspension and tyres is a real possibility. Just before the farm when approaching from Llandyssil village there are pot holes that are 50cm in diameter and about 30 cm deep. These have already damaged a car and the council is in the process of compensating the driver. More claims are going to be following unless the piece of road is repaired urgently.

Large pothole recurrence, 28th February
This pothole was repaired fairly recently but has now re-appeared, this time larger than previously. It is between 4 and 5 feet long, 2 to 3 feet wide, and up to 12 inches deep. It is located in a very narrow part of this single carriageway lane and is very likely to cause significant damage to suspension/steering/tyres/wheels of any cars and vans coming into contact with it. It needs to be urgently repaired again and this time using a permanent repair method please.

Multiple potholes in a large area, 28th February
There have been unrepaired potholes in this stretch of road for many months. The lack of action to repair them has inevitably resulted in their significant deterioration and extra pothole being formed. There must be 15 to 20 potholes of varying sizes and depths extending over 30 to 40 yards of the road and extending across almost the complete width of the road at one point. Likely to cause suspension/steering/tyre/wheel damage to cars and light vans. About time it was fixed.

Large wide and deep pothole, 18th January
This pothole has been repaired (badly) many times in the past and has inevitably reappeared in the same place. It is large (40 inches across and 8 - 10 inches deep) and is likely to cause suspension or tyre damage to those vehicles unwitting enough not to avoid it. There are also two more potholes (slightly smaller) in this same short stretch of road - within 15 - 20 yards of the largest one. Needs an urgent and long term fix please.

Savage, tyre shredding potholes, 19th August
Big, deep potholes. Cost over £140 to replace a tyre, the second tyre from potholes in the area in three weeks and the tyres were only a couple of weeks old!
Due to the narrowness and steepness of the road, it's not possible to avoid the potholes, nor is there any chance of inappropriate speed...
PLEASE FIX THEM ASAP.

Longstanding multiple deep potholes, 6th August
These potholes have been here for over 12 months and, despite previous reports to fix my street, Powys County Council have failed to take any action to effect suitable repairs. Given this inaction, the potholes have become progressively larger and deeper increasing the likelihood of damage to vehicle suspensions. It's about time action is taken.

Very large pothole on narrow junction, 16th June
A very large pothole appeared here several weeks ago and is deteriorating further as time passes. It is located at the roadside where the road from Llandyssil meets the road from Abermule. All four roads here are very narrow and the pothole presents a serious hazard to vehicles at this critical manouvering point.
