Road fallen in, 7th April
In addition to the potholes between the top of Arbour Lane along passed my house Lower Beach and then left at the T junction and along passed Rhadley Cottage on to the Nind turning onto the A488 which I have already reported a section of the road has fallen in just before my house (Lower Beach) where the stream goes under the road. Its on a corner and there is a drop to the stream so if a driver missed seeing it the car would go off the road.

Potholes, 27th March
I have already reported large numbers of potholes and broken road between the top of Arbour Lane and my house and then the road on past Rhadley Cottage to the A488 at Nind. I don't have a reference number or I would quote it but I did have an email which suggested that the problem was being dealt with. I've seen that some of the potholes have been marked up between the top of Arbour Lane and my house, Lower Beach but not all of them and as far as I can see none have been marked up from my house to the Nind turning on the A488 which is where there are a large number of dangerous holes in the road. Is this section of the road also going to be mended before any accidents occur? Thank you.

Many potholes and the side of the road broken on the road where my house is which the map claims is not a road maintained by the Council but which IS a road maintained by the council, 20th March
I've already reported numerous pot holes and broken sides of the road on the road between my house, Lower Beach and the Nind turning (where the bus stops are) on the A488. A taxi who I used the other day said he wouldn't go on that road again. Although the Council did mend some of the potholes between my house and the top of Arbour Lane last year, there are now more potholes and places where the road is broken on the sides. They are frequently covered with water so you can't see them and although I drive at 10 miles per hour I can't guarantee other people will do the same and its very dangerous. The other day I saw motorbikes driving quite fast on this road and last year someone came off their motorbike having hit a pothole though luckily with no lasting damage that I know of. Soon I will be losing business because of this and be unable to hire taxis and will have slashed tyres as a result. Please could you do something about this end of the road as well as the section from Nind to my house.

Particularly bad potholes between the T junction after Lower Beach (ie in Shrewsbury direction) and Rhadley >Cottage. Really dangerous to anyone driving or walking as when they are full of water they cannot be seen. The road surface is appalling and has fallen in on the sides. >This is true of the road between the top of Arbour Lane and Lower Beach. I report every year and every year it gets worse and although the Council mends some of the pot hole the job is never completed. The road just before Rhadley Cottage and just after the T junction really bad., 2nd March
Many of these potholes have been there for months/years and they are increasing.

Cattle grids need cleaning asap., 28th February
Can someone please clean out the two cattle grids. The one that I have pinned and the 2nd grid that is half way up the road from the first but before you get to the The Hollies. These were reported last year and no one came the customer thinks but they are in real need of a clean due to lambing season.

Doesn’t look bad, but it’s huge!, 23rd February
It’s been here there for over a month! I wasn’t going to hit it a third time! Right in the track. I was about to put a tape on it to show the depth, but a car was coming. About 50mm deep. It’s been marked up with spray paint, either not been done, or a poor job done!

Potholes and broken side of road, 28th September
There are potholes just after the t junction 1/4 mile beyond Lower Beach on the road leading to Rhadley Cottage and there are many potholes on the same road just before Rhadley Cottage and the road is also broken in the same area. I have asked for these to be mended before.

Overgrown, 18th July
There are overgrown grass here which is causing blind spots going round the corners, this is particular dangerous with a lot of cyclist using this road, please look into and get these cut back

Two cattle grids need clearing over the road from Pitcholds Farm, SY15 6EE area, 11th July
One of the grids is full to the top and the other half full. Cattle are in between each grid, so they need clearing asap

There are potholes between the top of Arbour Lane and Lower Beach the worst ones are nearer to Lower Beach there are also potholes on the road near to Rhadley Cottage. These are all dangerous and should be dealt with as soon as possible. This road is in a very poor condition and should be regularly monitored for potholes. A motor cyclist came off his bike the other day. I happened to be driving behind him and he was badly shaken but not seriously injured., 26th May

the road is not drivable for normal vehicles or mobility scooters. customer says last time this was complained about a sweeper was sent out that did not solve the issue, if anything made it worse. please look into

Large Pile of Builders Waste has been dumped in a layby adjacent to the A488. The waste wasn't there on the morning of Monday 6th March 2023; but is there this morning Tuesday 7th March 2023.

Large Pot Hole on Corner heading towards Bishops Castle, 19th December
The pot hole is in a position that to avoid it you either have to cross the central white line or get very close to the nearside verge. Not safe to take photograph due to it's location.

Pothole and hanging cable, 14th December
Dangerous pothole on southbound side just as coming around sharp corner by the quarry. Then shortly after, there is a cable hanging down into the carriageway. There was not a good opportunity to stop or check where the cable comes from.
