Distance between Sign and kerb to long, 10th January
The images included show the distance between the kerb which forms the beginning of the central reservation and the sign that indicates it. This is not inline with the required standards where the distance between the sign and the kerb should be negligible NOT 20M (the length of a small commercial pool or a bowling alley). “5.3.4. “Keep left” signs (diagram 610, S3-2-3, see Chapter 3) should always be placed at the start of the central reservation, and at any gaps.” Department for Transport et al. Clear up requested following fire on road, 11th December
Customer reported an urgent issue with a trailer that caught fire this morning at Fauls Green, outside a property called Yew Trees. He said that the trailer and tractor are parked sideways across the road to block off for emergency services and SC to get through to try to clear this up and this has led to a backlog at one end, but cars whizzing through from the other end are narrowly missing this. He asked if we can get someone out there as a matter of urgency.
