Road surface in awful state, 17th April
Customer said that the road has been in a terrible state for over 10 years now, due to regular flooding because of blocked drainage near the lakes. He said that the drainage needs to be sorted out and then the road resurfaced to make sure that it is safe for people to drive and cycle along there.

New salt bin required., 25th March
Please supply a new salt bin to location indicated on the map. We used to get salted dumped on the verge until the new policy of only supplying to salt bins occurred. During icy times in winter this bit of road becomes almost impassible and sight-seers regularly get stuck and block the road. This has previously been reported and marked as complete, but no bin has been supplied. Many thanks.

Recently resurfaced stretch of road from Oswestry to Selattyn and through village appears to be failing., 25th March
Large amount of loose chippings sat on surface and some areas left with no chippings, as bitumen adhesion seems to have failed in these areas. Road needs sweeping, but suggest an inspection to ascertain the problem, as I believe chippings will continue to become loose as some sections continue to fail. Risk of damage to vehicles due to flying chippings and loss of control on slippery surface.

8-10 inch pothole on Lawyer's Lane - right-hand pothoke the worst, pothole on left of lane also coming up ton2 ton bridge., 20th March
These 2 potholes have been present for 2-3 months - the right-hand pothole being the worst - 8-10 inches deep - your car slams down on going over the right-hand pothole and it is difficult to avoid as it is a narrow lane / the left hand pothole needs repairing also. My vehicle(s) and neighbours will be severely damaged as a result of these potholes.

Drainage never repaired when road is mended so the holes are back every year, 2nd March
Side of the racecourse common on road Carreg-y-big there are severe holes in the road due to the drainage never been repaired so water is permanently on the road surface. On the other side there overhanging trees causing a carriageway obstruction, these also never get pruned so will eventually block the road completely. Due to this and the holes mentioned above the road at this point is only wide enough for one vehicle.

Returning flood on entrance to Selattyn C.E. School, 22nd February
The previously reported flooding outside the entrance to school keeps returning and this morning is now deeper and larger than it has ever been which is a hazard for children entering school. The water coming up from one drain which is flowing across the entrance into the next drain has now lifted the drain cover.
