Parking on the corner / pedestrian crossing dropped curb, 24th February
We have a business on the industrial estate marked on the map. We have always had problems with cars parking on the corners which slows down and reduces visibility at the junction (especially for the wagons / large vans. Yesterday while I was parked a few cars back I noticed a pedestrian trying to cross the road but there was a cars parked all the way up to the corner. The car in front of me didn’t see the pedestrian and very nearly hit the pedestrian crossing the road.
There is a dropped curb just after the corner but always has cars parked on while the go in the cafe opposite. This industrial estate is getting more quite busy with the local public / families walking in to a cheap food / pop shop.
I have sent this into yourself hoping that it’s possible to extend the yellow lines from the main road to the dropped curb?
This would help the traffic on the junction and hopefully improve the visibility of pedestrian Crossing.
Thanks for taking time to read this.

Can’t see the traffic light from the left hand lane, 20th February
I regularly drive down this road and when you are at the front of the queue at the traffic lights in the left hand lane you can’t see the traffic light. All of the other traffic lights nearby are controlling other traffic and it is confusing and dangerous. There needs to be another traffic light that can be easily seen.

Lots of abandoned rubbish in this area, 11th February
There is lots of abandoned rubbish "behind" the flats near the fence.
Incidentally number 54 also have alot of refuse bags outside the front of there property (6 or 7 on the floor , plus the black and brown bins are full of rubbish too)
I don't know if this is a coincidence, this is causing alot of finger pointing by neighbours and of course this is leading to confrontations.
We have also noticed rats in the area near the refuse bags at 54 and also a number of cats that are sitting nearby (hunting I believe)

The potholes on the road in Park Avenue heading into Regent Crescent has been like that since I moved there in 2020. Nothing has been done to repair the road on that street.
The road heading into Regent Crescent off Wakefield Road near the bus stop at the bottom end of Regent Crescent is full of potholes, & an uneven road surface that can cause significant damage to vehicles, & pushbikes too.
