ISSUE: 1.Youth ASB in the Staveley Miners Welfare/King George's Memorial Park area. 2. Nuisance Motorcycles in the Poolsbrook area.
ACTION: 1.In the last 3 months we have continued to have incoming calls in relation to youth ASB in this area. The Safer Neighbourhood Team will be patrolling this area at key times and will be joined by Council Enforcement Officers. We hope to be able to divert youths involved in ASB into more productive activities. We will utilise ASB legislation such as Community protection Warnings for those who continue to cause a nuisance in this community.
2. As longer days approach we anticipate that we will see an increase in calls relating to nuisance Motorcycles in the Poolsbrook area. To combat this we will patrol areas that are mostly impacted and utilise our colleagues in the Rural Crime Team and Off Road Motorcycle team to target those responsible and enforce robustly.
