Poorly repaired pothole has re-opened, 29th December
This pothole was repaired a couple of years ago but has since re-opened. It is of such a size that vehicles are swerving to avoid it. (Reported 29.12.23. to DCC)

Graffiti on footpath, 14th November
Outside the property on the corner of Newbold Road and Thirlmere, opposite the working men's club, graffiti has been sprayed on the footpath in three places. I can only upload pictures of two places.This graffiti relates to the cleaning of dog poo. The graffiti appeared the day after the same property was displaying a home made sign instructioning people to clean up dog mess outside the property. I suspect the owner of the house has committed this act as a more permanent solution to their personal situation. Whilst the intention is a positive one, the act is still vandalism and sets a dangerous president that people are allowed to deface property that isn't their own.

Flats look abandoned and unloved, 29th August
The lawns and gardens that surround the flats on pennine way are being neglected, trees are growing in planters, grass is 2 long, there are several bordered up windows and damaged doors that have been like this for ages. Its a bit of an eyesore, makes the flats look abandoned, its not good for the area.

Car parked opposite driveway making it very difficult to get out with hitting it. Parked with 2 wheels on pavement but road is not wide so also causing an obstruction for other road users

Dog barking constantly, 30th July
Dog barking constantly with no owner intervention. Barking has been noted early in the morning such as 0600, throughout the day, and currently gone midnight, again with no intervention. Barks for minimum twenty minutes at a time. Suspect owner leaves outside as dog also whines. Barks sound like a biggish dog but also occasionally smaller. Has been going on for three years but has increased in frequency over the last couple of months.

Parking on green space, 13th July
Cars now starting to park on the green space while waiting at school pick up for St Mary's. Some days there are multiple cars. There are also issues with parking on double yellow lines as well as restricting access to residential properties.
