Large area in road sinking, 25th April
I have reported this matter on several occasions over the past 5 years. About 5 years ago Yorkshire water dug a large hole in the road on Whirlow Grange Avenue (50 yards from the junction with Ecclesall Road South). A couple of years later the whole area began to sink and after protracted correspondence the council informed me that it was a problem for Yorkshire Water - eventually it was dug up again and tarmac relaid BUT it is sinking again, but I see that somebody has chucked a couple of shovels of tarmac into part of the whole. I have also suspected that this is a sink hole created by an underground stream - evidenced by a wall on the south side of Ecclesall Road South which is also sinking. Please report this matter to Yorkshire water as it is getting dangerous. Thank you.

Builders bag of grass cuttings appeared on the grass verge outside 200 Abbey Lane across the road from the roundabout, on Thursday/Friday 18/19 April. It looked as though the roundabout had just been mown, so thought it might possibly be Streets Ahead and they’d return to collect it? However still there today

Sharp sided pothole formerly half the width of the carriageway both ends poorly repaired central section left., 5th April
Are pair appears to have been poorly carried out at some time but the centre section has for some reason been left leaving a Sharp edged pothole in an unavoidable position at this busy crossroads and bus route.
