Parking on the corners of the street, 29th April
Good morning,
I am a resident of MANOR CLOSE, SOUTH GODSTONE, RH9 8HW. I previously got in touch with Tandridge council, and they advised me to write to you about the parking on our street. I am very concerned about the cars parked on the junction of MANOR CLOSE and LAGHAM ROAD. When we need to turn to the main road - Lagham from Manor close, there are cars parked on both sides of CORNERS which totally obstruct the view, and it's very dangerous to pull to the Lagham road. I attached a map of highlighted the location where the vehicles have been parked. The cars obstruct the view when vehicles are parked on footpaths. I believe the residents who live in the corner houses of Manor close have 3–4 vehicles per household, and it is convenient for them to park there. Given the seriousness of this issue, I strongly urge you to ask the Highway Authority to carry out on-street car parking enforcement. We have been living there for two years, but the issue is still ongoing. Please note that the cars might not be there during the day, but they will be there more likely in the morning or evening. I would appreciate your help a lot.
Thank you, Laima Kupciunaite
